Gemma is an experienced mental health nurse with a particular interest in addictions. Originally from Shropshire she developed expertise by working in NHS community and inpatient substance misuse services. Gemma relocated to London in 2015 and moved to the private sector where she worked at one of the country's leading private mental health hospitals. Here she worked alongside leaders in their field treating the full spectrum of acute mental health conditions and witnessed first hand the delivery of the latest evidence based treatments. In 2018 to broaden her nursing experience further Gemma moved into the role of clinical nurse advisor which took her into different NHS trusts across the south of England. In all areas of her practice Gemma has always been and remains passionate about accessible high quality care which led her to open her own private practice in 2022. She is flexible in her approach offering home visits and appointments in clinics and the community.
