Dr Sudipta Sen has been a Paediatrician for the last 30 years and has extensive experience of working with children from 0-18 years as well as their families with a wide range of developmental conditions. It has been her professional ethos to nurture neurodiversity. She has been a consultant both in India and in the UK and has been working in the NHS for 23 years.

Dr Sen passionately believes that early assessment and detection of diverse development (physical, mental, and behavioural) is the key to nurturing a growing child and providing the best outcome for future. Dr Sen works closely with families, early years co-ordinators and schools for providing a framework for supporting the child/young person in education.

Dr Sudipta Sen is trained in ADOS, ADI, DISCO, Griffith’s developmental scale, PET 2 epilepsy, neurodisability, Sleep practitioner and has a special interest in ADHD occurring with Learning disability in children.

Dr Sen has had her undergraduate medical qualification in Kolkata, India where she volunteered with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity and has been a Rotarian working with Youth as a mentor and fundraising for education.

Dr Sen completed her DCH and MRCPCH in the UK in the year 2000 and has been elected as the Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health since 2018. Dr Sen is a mentor, trainer and assessor for Paediatricians aspiring to become consultants in this country and works jointly with GMC and RCPCH as a Member of CESR Subcommittee. She also lectures in ADHD workshops and various webinars for doctors, parents, and the voluntary sector.

She works part-time for NHS and is the Clinical Lead for Richmond Community Paediatric Medical Services as well as the Lead for under 5 years assessment of childhood autism in Richmond. She extensively supports EHCP applications for children with special needs in the Richmond borough.

Dr Sen is founder and director of the company MindOneSelf Limited which offers specialised services for Autism and ADHD up to the age of 18 years old.

Dr Sen believes in providing holistic care, which bridges the gap between NHS and private practice and offers the best to the children, young persons, and families.
